Synergy of colour and sound

Alexey Klokov’s new project involves the creation of artworks on a live stage. Accompanied by an orchestra, he creates his paintings in real time, transferring the energy and emotion of sound to a canvas.
This project inspired a new Christmas series of installations. In the center of the abstract composition, the artist applies an antique musical instrument (string or keyboard) as if he is telling a story about the “synergy of color and sound”.
The musical instruments for these installations are personally chosen by the artist. With an extensive background in restoration, Alexey personally attends auctions worldwide, selecting only the best. Two of these works were originally commissioned and have already been transported to the Stradivarius Museum in Cremoni.
